About the assignment

At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier of the government framework agreement in Sweden. We are now looking for an interim manager for a government agency in Stockholm who will specifically navigate in the areas of payroll, systems, and staffing. As an Interim Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing the unit and its 14 employees by planning, organizing, prioritizing, and ensuring the quality of payroll processing for the entire authority more specifically.

Requirements for the position

• A degree in economics, HR, personnel administration, or a field deemed relevant and equivalent. Degree certificate must be presented upon request.
• Very good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish
• At least seven years of experience working with payroll management and payroll systems in an organization with at least 500 employees
• At least two years of experience as a manager in a relevant area.
• Solid experience in systematic work with payroll-affecting events.
• Solid experience in streamlining and creating processes for operational work with payroll and HR systems
• Solid experience in developing clear processes for internal governance and control of payroll processes
• Provide references for similar assignments or employment that have lasted in the last 5 years

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time and is to begin as soon as possible after the contract is signed and will last until June 30, 2026 (with the possibility of extension until December 31, 2026). The interim manager must be able to work on-site at the authority in Solna throughout the contract period, equivalent to a full-time position.
